    The Clerk of Courts has two main divisions - the legal office and the title office.

    • The duties of the Clerk's Legal Department are to process and preserve the pleadings for all civil, felony criminal, and domestic relations cases of the Seneca County Common Pleas Court. Also, appeal cases to the Third District Court of Appeals from the county are filed through this office.
    • The duties of the Clerk's Title Department is to issue titles for cars, trucks, motorcycles, trailers, mobile homes, boats and motors. We also provide registrations for watercraft.



    Court Case Inquiry:

    The Court Case Inquiry (located above and to the left) includes Domestic, Civil, Felony Criminal, Certificate of Judgments of Seneca County Common Pleas Court and appeal cases of the Third District Court of Appeals . The cases contained on the Court Case Inquiry have a beginning date of January 1, 1993. However, if a post-decree action has been filed, some older Domestic cases may also appear on the Court Case Inquiry
